How to Keep Your Milk Delivery Fresh
Order a Cooler Box
One of the best ways to keep your milk deliveries at the right temperature is through a cooler box at your front door. These portable boxes are designed to be insulated to keep the contents cool for extended periods of time, perfect to place just on your doorstep for our milkmen to leave your deliveries in. If you purchase a cooler, to ensure smooth deliveries please leave empties outside your cooler box, this way the fresh milk is put straight into your cooler, then your empties are taken.
Deliver to Shade
One thing you can do to combat the warm weather is make sure there’s an area by your front door that has a lot of shade. That way, the milk can be kept out of direct sunlight to prevent amplifying the rise of temperature.
Update Your Delivery Instructions
Following on from delivering it to a shaded location, it’s important to keep your instructions for delivery up to date. When you’re getting regular deliveries for anything, not just milk, you likely have a safe area to store everything that arrives. Updating your instructions to include where the delivery man drops off your milk helps you avoid missing it.
