We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our External Sales team on a permanent basis. You will be managing a team of sales ambassadors in an already successful area, using your expertise in customer relationships and sales techniques to identify opportunities for growth and action these opportunities to continue our success and profitability.

Your responsibilities will include:

Your core focus will be to manage the day-to-day operations of the field-based sales team, helping to shape and then roll out our new training. You will be responsible for managing the overall performance, workplace organisation, and growth of our customer base The External Sales team will cover both Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire.

• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans
• Achieving growth and hitting sales targets
• Building and promoting teamwork
• Providing daily reports
• Engaging with a team of field sales executives keeping morale high
• You will have a strong knowledge of products and our delivery service
• Meet and exceed sales targets
• Ensure the sign-up process is adhered to and implemented effectively

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A genuine interest in our eco-friendly approach.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Extensive experience of face-to-face sales
• Background in managing and developing an effective sales team, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• This role will require flexibility, commitment, strong communication skills and resilience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to maintain calm under pressure
• Reliable and punctual.

What you’ll get in return:

• Fixed basic salary of £38,000 A sales position with security of a salary
